This doesn’t mean you can’t still use ReShade, but you may need to use it purely for screenshots and turn it off while you’re actually playing. (Here’s the laptop I use to play the sims 4 and it runs perfectly with all expansions, mods, cc, and ReShade.)
I absolutely LOVE it and always have it in my game, but keep in mind that if you don’t have a higher-end computer or laptop, ReShade may cause your game to be laggy. You can play with it yourself to make your own presets for your game But that program can take a long time to master. Through it, you can add ambient occlusion, real depth of field, and much more to your favorite games That includes the Sims 4 of course. You know how much we all love to take beautiful screenshots and videos of our gameplay. ReShade ReShade isn’t exactly a mod, but it’s a graphics injector. I have installed Reshade to the one in the bin and it didn’t appear in my game at all (no Menu no overlay nada).
I have two sims 4 files and they are located in the bin and cracked bin. Say ‘Yes’ to download the current shaders so it sets up the correct paths for you (we will overwrite them with the shaders for 3.4.1 in the next step) Place the reshade-shaders folder from the main 3.4. If you don’t already know, ReShade is this incredible FREE program that you can download to change the look of your favorite video games. I’ve had Reshade before on my official game (I own packs on another account) but it’s not working on this version. Install ReShade 3.4.1 by running the ReShadeSetup3.4.1.exe and following the instructions. Want to save this list? Click here to pin it!
